The seed that was planted in 2011 at the General Assembly in Santiago, Chile was fertilized in 2012 at the General Assembly in Kobe, Japan, and bore fruit just before the new year:  Federation EIL’s new website.

This bold, new site highlights programs from each of the 23 member countries around the globe and allows users to search by program, region or country. Program features include: Independent Homestays, High School Abroad, Volunteering, Au Pair and Demi-Pair, Adult Programs and more.

Other organizations and partners can use the site to find out more about Who We Are and what distinguishes The Experiment in the field of intercultural exchange, including Our Mission, our UN affiliation, our outstanding members and our dynamic governance.

In addition to the return of the seasonal newsletter, In the Loop, the new Around the World Blog highlights member news, field reports and Federation EIL developments. Look for the 2013 newsletter just after this year’s General Assembly–which returns to the United States to continue the celebration of the 8oth Anniversary of The Experiment in International Living.
