About The Experiment of Germany

The 25 full-time employees in the headquarter in Bonn are supported nationwide by more than 600 alumni volunteers and local coordinators.

More than 40 percent of all participants receive full or partial scholarships, enabling them to participate in an exchange program despite their individual financial situation.

In 2011, 1,902 participants of all ages took advantage of the various programs of Experiment e.V. Above all, they discovered the people and the country in a way that is not possible for the usual tourist – namely as a family member. Guests are warmly welcomed in host families in over 70 countries throughout the world.
